Portuguese Slam/Death Metallers ANALEPSY are about to release their new full-length album entitled “Quiescence”. The new album is going to be released after nearly 5 years since their last debut album “Atrocities from Beyond” (2017). Their sound can be described as a crossover between Old-school Brutal Death Metal and modern melodic elements. Concerning the band’s name, it was chosen due to its meaning “recovery of strength after an illness”.
The vinyl version of “Quiescence” will be issued on May 27th, 2022 through Agonia Records. The album will be released on CD, MC and digital formats on April 15th via Miasma Records and Vomit Your Shirt.
As the band states: ” ‘Quiescence’ maintains Analepsy’s previous releases’ space theme, but from a new perspective. There are no sentient beings, simply a desolate cosmos awaiting its own demise“.
Their upcoming album features special guest appearances from Ricky Myers (SUFFOCATION, DISGORGE – USA), Angel Ochoa (DISGORGE – USA, CEPHALOTRIPSY, ABOMINABLE PUTRIDITY, CONDEMNED) and Wilson Ng (FACELIFT DEFORMATION, VERMICULAR INCUBATION, VIRGINITY FRAUD).
