New album for the American band AUTOPSY, in a very short period of time since the release of their previous album which was just a year ago. There is no need for recommendations about the quality of the band, since they have been introduced to us in 1989 with the album “Severed Survival”. Experts in the field, they know exactly what they have to do in order to produce an album that will smell of death and paranoia, bringing you twigs of mutilated corpses throughout the whole audition!

AUTOPSY with this album show us that, no matter how many years go by, if you have love and the passion for what you do, then you will do it well. With no need for exaggerations that we come across in newer bands of the genre and without trying to copy elements from other bands, AUTOPSY deliver breathless old school Death Metal for the 41 minutes that the album lasts.

Ashes,Organs, Blood And Crypts just like the title of the album is the music you will hear from the band that is driven by the brilliant Chris Reifert who, apart from the vocals and drums in the album, has written all the lyrics as he has done in almost all AUTOPSY’s albums. On guitars with such a duo like Danny Coralles and Eric Cutler you just can’t lose! The guys know exactly how guitars should be played in Death Metal, making it look so simple but at the same time so complex. I don’t think you need any special introduction for the bassist Greg Wilkinson. I’ll just mention that he is the owner of Earhammer Studios where the album was recorded. The ninth album of the American Death Metal veterans is probably the best they have released since the band’s reactivation in 2009.

BLOOD you will find just generously with the opening of the album on the track “Rabid Funeral”. CRYPTS you will meet in “No Mortal Left Alive”. ASHES are sure to be discovered in “Well Of Entrails” with the doom character of the track at the beginning. Where will you find ORGANS though?? Of course you will find them scattered throughout the album, no instructions are needed for that. The rhythm will lead you to discover them from track to track, until the end of the album which will surely leave you with a smile on your face, while your hand will instantly hit the repeat button! The album is pleasant to listen to its entity, while there are no parts that will make you feel bored or skip to other song. Shout out to AUTOPSY who, in just a few months from the release of their previous album, managed to do such a good job!
