In this video I am playing some chords in C# Minor, adding some open strings for extra “colour”.

The technique I am demonstrating here is influenced by Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page and I am using pick and fingers together, just like Page does on “Stairway to Heaven”. This specific technique is called “Hybrid Picking” and by this, we can make more strings audible when we play our chords, making our sound more melodic and “rich”!
