CRYSTAL VIPER was founded by the singer and guitarist Marta Gabriel, and released their debut album in 2007. Since then, they have toured in more than 15 countries, in both tiny clubs and at huge open air festivals, released eight studio albums and bunch of singles, proving that they are one of the most hard working and most determined bands of their generation.
Their upcoming mini-LP, “The Last Axeman”, will be released on March 25th via Listenable Records and features 8 tracks. Side A starts with a new version of the early classic CRYSTAL VIPER and fan favorite: “The Last Axeman” and is followed by a brand new song entitled “In The Haunted Chapel”. It also includes a surprise cover song, a remake of “Ulitsa Roz”, originally recorded by the Russian Heavy Metal heroes, ARIA, as well as a cover of “It’s Electric”, the classic headbanger of the NWOBHM heroes, DIAMOND HEAD. Side B includes four songs taken from “The Cult” album (“The Cult”, “Asenath Waite”, “Whispers From Beyond” and “Flaring Madness”), but recorded live in studio, as part of the #RockOutSessions series.

The band said in a statement: “Our latest album “The Cult” is still hot (released less than a year ago), but due to the pandemic, we could not go on tour to promote it. Instead of sitting and waiting for better times, we decided to record something new in the meantime and release it immediately. “
