All-female Death Metal squad CASTRATOR, has released an official video for their new single “Tormented By Atrocities”, directed, produced and edited by Carolina Pérez. The video marked the final single before the release of the band’s debut album “Defiled In Oblivion”, on July 22nd via Dark Descent Records.
With “Defiled In Oblivion”, the New York four-piece have perfected their blend of fierce old-school USDM to a fault. More uncompromising and ruthless than ever before, CASTRATOR’s zero-f*cks-given approach rips and shreds across nine hypnotically violent new tracks (alongside a cover of VENOM’s “Countess Bathory”) and makes “Defiled In Oblivion” a release to be reckoned with. Boys club beware!
CASTRATOR is an international effort – women from established underground bands in Colombia, Florida, Mexico, Massachusetts, Sweden, and Norway – based in New York City that formed in 2013, released their debut EP “No Victim” in 2015. The band’s themes are all about feminism, anti-rape and misandry.
