The European Tour of MALEVOLENT CREATION for 2024 has just ended, but it seems that the problems continue. Just a few days after their performances in Greece, specifically on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Fuzz Live Music Club in Athens and on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Mylos Club in Thessaloniki, where they supported BELPHEGOR, the American Death Metallers posted something on social media that raises concerns about the band’s future. The band seems to be facing serious lineup issues, particularly with their vocalist!
According to their post, the band’s frontman, Deron Miller, will no longer continue with them. MALEVOLENT CREATION’s guitarist and leader, Philip Fasciana, in an urgent and somewhat desperate manner, is calling on capable and ready vocalists who can also handle guitar duties to contact him.
MALEVOLENT CREATION specifically wrote:
“European Tour 2024 has finished but the issues continue. We may need a vocalist to continue forward unfortunately. We get home in 2 days and send all DM to Philip Fasciana if you are capable of fronting the band on vocals and rhythm guitarist. There is no time to waste so if you can cut the mustard contact me asap.”
MALEVOLENT CREATION has faced lineup troubles in the past as well. On April 23, 2020, the band announced the departure of two key members: drummer Phil Cancilla and vocalist/guitarist Lee Wollenschlaeger. Lee Wollenschlaeger had significantly contributed to the writing of their previous album “The 13th Beast“.
