On September 30th, Viennese Melodic Death Metallers VERMOCRACY released their second album “Age Of Dysphoria” via Black Sunset/MDD. “Age Of Dysphoria” was recorded, produced and mastered in Norbert Leitner’s studio in Vienna, which gives the band a more than powerful sound. The impressive cover artwork was created by Armin Stocker.
With “Necrocracy”, a few weeks ago there was already a chic lyric video, which was based on the dystopian cover artwork of the album. Now the quintet has gone one better with a superb video clip! For this, the track “Grace Of Hypnos” was provided with a visual story concept by Markus Schlögl (maschl.media) and realised. The performance scenes were filmed in the Escape Metalcorner in Vienna.
Formed in 2017 by Andreas Huber and Roman Kolesnik, the band completed their lineup with Michael Frick (ex-HORNS OF HATTIN, ex-THEOTOXIN) on vocals, Morgane Rake (ex-BLACK COVEN) on guitars and Hannes Sandrini (OBSIDIAN CHAMBER, CANDLES AND WRATHS, (ex-HORNS OF HATTIN) on bass.
Dark Melodic Death Metal as a reminiscence to the ’90s. Powerfull riffs, earthy grooves and bestial vocals paint a dystopian picture of the fall and decline of modern society …
