Here we have a very interesting compilation for the fans of the greek death metal scene, with 4 bands, 3 of which are already historical with great discography and tons of live shows over the years.

So, this CD starts with Soulskinner who participate with the songs “God of the deep” and “Creation of Cosmos” while Obsecration follow with “R.I.P.” and “Revenge”. Third are Abyssus, also from Athens, with “Echoes of Desolation” and “Godly Beings” (Obituary cover) and this compilation ends with the much younger band Malicious Silence with “Seed of Utopia” and a cover to “When cannons fade” from Bolt Thrower.

Few things can be said about this compilation, most important is the fact that all bands give their best and all songs are new and previously unreleased which is the most important fact for people who are interested in buying such a release. It is out on CD and if you cannot find it at your local store, check the link at the end of this review.

It’s not important to grade this album, those of you out there who are not familiar with the bands or those who like to purchase everything, this is for you, a record really worth owning.
