This year, the Austrian Industrial Death/Black Metallers TRISTWOOD celebrate twenty years of existence. Back in 2010, the band released their iconic third full-length album, “Dystopia Et Disturbia”. Back then, the band decided to release this album only in digital form, making a permanent request of its fans to release it in physical form. So, wanting to celebrate their twentieth birthday of existence, they decided to make reality this demand of their fans.
This brand new anniversary release comes with the name “Dystopia Et Disturbia MMXXI”, indicating in Latin numerals the year of its new release. This anniversary edition includes not only the classic version of the album (in which the mixing and mastering was done by Deimon), but also a new cover and accompanying booklet. At the same time, it includes a large number of nine songs that were recorded during the first years of the band’s existence, as well as the unreleased song “Stormcode”.
Not many things can be said for this album, as it is the most famous release of TRISTWOOD. A classic album for the band, including eight compositions, one better than the other, with an amazing instrumental song entitled “The New Acid Bath” showing the Avant-garde quest of the band. Lasting just half an hour, this release manages to unfold all the band’s talent, justifying the fans’ demand for this new-physical version!
A release not only for collectors but for all those who prefer the “natural” form in their music. At the same time, a unique opportunity for those who do not know TRISTWOOD, to get in touch with them, through their probably best job till now.
