Two years after their debut album, the Swedish Melodic Death Metal band, THE HALO EFFECT, announced the release of their second album, titled “March of the Unheard.” To celebrate the announcement, they unveiled the album’s first single, “Detonate,” on the band’s social media platforms.
As the title suggests, it’s a high-energy track that carries the signature sound of THE HALO EFFECT. It’s uplifting, melodic, and according to guitarist Niclas Engelin, it’s an excellent track to give fans a taste of what’s to come with the upcoming album.
Niclas Engelin specifically stated:
“Damn, time flies fast when you have so much fun touring, playing festivals, and creating new magic. Are we hitting album no. 2 already? Still running high from the energy from “Days Of The Lost”, and it’s been a blast!
We just can’t wait for you all to hear our new magic and I think you might like what you are about to hear! ‘Detonate’, our first single from our new album March Of The Unheard, is an upbeat straight in the face song with all the melodies that you just can’t be without! Obey The Riff!”
THE HALO EFFECT consists of five former members of IN FLAMES: guitarist Jesper Strömblad, drummer Daniel Svensson, bassist Peter Iwers, guitarist Niclas Engelin, and vocalist Mikael Stanne. With such a lineup, the new album is expected to be exceptional.
