The Swedish Doom Metallers SORCERER release the cover of “Crusader” in all major digital platforms through Metal Blade Records. The original song was the title of SAXON’s sixth album “Crusader”, released in 1984, and is still one of the most beloved songs by these NWOBHM pioneers.
SORCERER singer Anders Engberg says:
“For me Saxon has always been there since I started to listen to Heavy Metal, and I was lucky enough to tour with these guys with my old one band (LION ‘SHARE)“.
Drummer Richard Evensand, who is a huge fan of the Saxons, is extremely excited.
“It was the first band I really started following as a teenager and it ‘s still one of my favorite bands today. Nigel Glockner has really influenced my playing as a drummer. You can imagine that I was immediately in favor of the cover of “Crusader”. It is the loudest song on this planet! Peter Hallgren did a great job on the cover“.
