Pittsburgh Deathcore unit SIGNS OF THE SWARM, has released an incredibly heavy new standalone single entitled “Amongst The Low & Empty” through Century Media Records. The new single comes with an official video directed by Joey Durango.
SIGNS OF THE SWARM comment: “We are extremely pleased to unleash ‘Amongst the Low & Empty.’ This song represents a theme that we have been building for a few years and were finally able to bring to life with the help of Josh Schroeder, with additional production from Joshua Travis. We wanted to create something that gets you moving from beginning to end, no bullshit, just heavy.
We knew we accomplished that when our manager laughed out loud at a part in the breakdown when hearing it for the first time. We hope you headbang and/or laugh with us.”
Co-produced and mixed by Josh Schroeder (LORNA SHORE, KING 810, TALLAH), “Amongst Τhe Low & Empty” is the first taste of what’s to come from the ferocious Deathcore quartet in 2023. SIGNS OF THE SWARM joined WHITECHAPEL, ARCHSPIRE and ENTHEOS for an extensive USA tour. The tour kicked off on April 14th in Atlanta, CA and will wrap up on May 13th in Nashville, TN.
SIGNS OF THE SWARM aren’t just any band, they’re a once-a-generation beacon that radiates the sounds that surrounded them, preserving history by reframing it. With riffs more punishing than pensive, and a rhythm section that frames them in creatively cacophonic ways, they’ve spent 9 years honing their craft – and they’ve steadily expanded their global reach, too. Having already toured with the likes of FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, BORN OF OSIRIS, SHADOW OF INTENT, ABORTED, LORNA SHORE, BRAND OF SACRIFICE and more, forget the signs; the swarm is already here. And it’s growing larger and louder every day.
