Founding member and lead guitar player Randy Meinhard had already recruited Jonas Schütz as the band’s permanent drummer and welcomed fellow lead guitar player Gerrit Knol back into the SACROSANCT fold. While both bass player Kees Harrison and singer Richard F. Hesselink had decided to pursue different musical paths, replacements were found in Gerrit’s SkâldGrim bandmate Mario ‘El Cappo’ Berendijk on bass and vocalist Ron ‘Brew’ Brouwer, who has recorded with Kooz Killz Applemooz and performed with Dutch trash metal band Mystrez in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.

SACROSANCT are on fire again and currently working on a new album, that is as yet untitled, for a 2021 release.

With ‘Necropolis’ SACROSANCT have raised the bar for their Progressive Power Metal, that will undoubtedly result in a thundering follow-up!
