Greek Thrash/Death Metal veterans PIRANHA, have released a new lyric video for the song, “Eternal Night”. The single is taken from the band’s latest album, “Arise From The Shadows”, which was released in 2020.
Commenting on the song the band says: “You go to sleep… Everything seems ordinary…. But the next day holds an unpleasant surprise…. The sun is not there….people are turning into horrible creatures…. No one escapes… Not even you! Evil, pain and horror has filled the atmosphere to suffocating levels! The end is here!!!!!!”
PIRANHA is a Thrash/Death Metal band from Athens and they were formed in 1987, starting its career as a Speed Metal band. They released a few demos and an EP in the early 90’s, while their debut album was released in 1998 with the title “Reborn”. PIRANHA went discographically “silent” after that, although they did play some concerts from time to time. They reappeared in 2015, participating in the split “Long Live The Past: The Demo Collection”, to make their full comeback by releasing their second full-length album “Arise From The Shadows” in 2020, with the title referring somewhat to the band’s own history.
