Having started their music career in 2015 from an abandoned yarn factory on the west coast of Norway, where they set up an amateur studio to promote and write their tracks, ORMSKRIK reached the steps of Fysisk Format through which they released their first, self-titled, complete album.

To accomplish this, they collaborated with renowned producer Daniel Bergstrand on Dugout Productions while Lawrence Mackrory took over the mixing of the album. ORMSKRIK has created a debut album including all the features of a modern Thrash Metal record, featuring eleven fast and wild tracks that combine the Bay Area Thrash, the Norwegian Black Metal and in some parts the Swedish Death genre.

A beautiful set of songs, with a remarkable production, especially for a debut album. A set that overflows full of aggression and rage, in tracks like “Destroyer Of Worlds”, “Descend To Madness” and “The Morbid Arrives”, both musically and lyrically, perhaps as a result of the very young age of the group’s members. The band, with it’s aggressive style and youth, gives a freshness and vibrancy to the compositions, having as the peak of the album the great “Eye For An Eye” song. Note that the basic release form of the album is a beautiful 12″ vinyl.

So, potential Blackened Thrash by the Norwegians who rushed with fury into the record labels! If this lively and fresh breath is maintained and developed, they will surely go upwards in the future.
