KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have released their new single titled “Forever Aligned,” which is included in their upcoming album “This Consequence,” set to be released on February 21, 2025, via Metal Blade Records.
“This Consequence” is the band’s ninth studio album overall and their sixth with original vocalist Jesse Leach, who rejoined KILLSWITCH ENGAGE in 2012.
In a social media post, Jesse shared his thoughts on the new song:
«Get into it and listen close! Inspired by my love, my wife and our connection. She’s a God send. It is out now and is equally for ALL of you and the love we receive in a dark and tumultuous time! It’s that DEEP love, that connection that supersedes our comprehension. It is a direct line to God, a higher power, Jah, the universe or whatever you wanna call it take your pick and live it!”
Jesse Leach also commented on the upcoming album “This Consequence” in the same post:
“Next level stoked on this record and I honestly don’t really care a lot about what people think … I love this album and I’m super proud of it! This album took everything within me, every cell every breath and I wouldn’t change the thing…”

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE will embark on a headline tour in March 2025. The tour features KUBLAI KHAN TX, FIT FOR A KING, and FROZEN SOUL and kicks off on March 5, 2025, in Nashville, with the final stop on April 12, 2025, in Portland, Maine.
