Heavy Metallers HEKATOMB from Stockholm, Sweden have released their last single for 2024, “Solitude /Mark Hur Var Skugga” dedicated to CANDLEMASS and also to Carl Micheal Bellman, songwriter, composer, musician, poet, and entertainer who lived during the 18th century and his powerful influence in Swedish music, as well as in Scandinavian literature is strong even until today. “In these the darkest of times and in the darkest days of the year, HEKATOMB is proud to release the last of our five new songs in 2024. Since we are passing through darkness and all that comes with it in terms of heavy thoughts, fear and uncertainty, we would like to present to you a bit of hope. We are from now on heading towards lighter and brighter days. In the meantime, have a listen to our new heavy piece of metal, where we are sending our greetings both to the great Swedish doom metal pioneers of Candlemass and the master of the Swedish modern bard tradition mr Carl Michael Bellman.
