HARMONIZE ORACLE is a Cypriot band that appeared in 2012 as HARMONIZE. Being a bunch of teenagers it is basically no surprise that since then, they have gone through many difficulties, member changes and a full length album, “Warrior In The Night” in the midst of a COVID pandemic, ending up in their current form under the name HARMONIZE ORACLE. Their members are George Constantinou (guitars), Lambros Apousianas (guitars, vocals), Panagiotis Takkides (bass) and Harys Peratikas (drums).

In the EP “Before The Oracle” they actually choose to make a musical retrospective of their career and to give an idea of their musical identity through a brand new song, “Chained Spirit” a re-release of an older song, “Crawling Among Shadows” and three very thoughtful and well-crafted covers. “Phoenix” from SATYRICON’s collaboration with SIVERT HOYEM of MADRUGADA, AMON AMARTH’s “Shield Wall” and BLIND GUARDIAN’s “Another Holy War”. In about 30 minutes they present their influences that spread over a quite wide range from Melodic Death and Power Metal to Progressive and Symphonic Metal, always given all under a dark and atmospheric cloak.  It is certainly not easy to create something complete and coherent in less than half an hour but I guess HARMONIZE ORACLE see this EP as the closing of a chapter and the opening of a new one in order to enter the music scene refreshed and having forewarned the audience for what will follow.

Another positive sign is the excellent production of the EP as well as the high quality and original promotional package that arrived in our hands which included a small booklet with their bio and several photos from their entire career. A proof that these guys work professionally and leave no detail to chance. HARMONIZE ORACLE are definitely on our radar for the future!
