After the release of their fourth full-length album “Nuklearth” in 2020, the technical death metal band CYTOTOXIN returns with their second standalone single titled “Condemnesia.” The band continues their musical and lyrical creations, drawing inspiration from the catastrophic accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986.
“Condemnesia” sheds light on the victims of Chernobyl who suffered from radiation exposure, describing the desperate and tragic situation faced by both patients and doctors in Soviet hospitals.

Inspired by this disaster, the German death metal band CYTOTOXIN was formed in 2010. CYTOTOXIN quickly became known for their explosive live performances and surgical precision in their playing. Their third album, “Gammageddon” (2017), solidified their place in the technical death metal scene, while their fourth album, “Nuklearth” (2020), showcased their versatility and compositional skills. Following numerous European tours and appearances at major festivals, CYTOTOXIN made their debut in the United States and Canada in November 2024. Now, they are ready to conquer new territories with their two new singles, “Hope Terminator” and “Condemnesia.”
