On April 22nd, Germany’s Melodic Death Metallers CREDIC, have unleashed their new album “Vermillion Oceans“, through Black Lion Records. To celebrate the release in glorious style, CREDIC have released a brand new music video for the track “The Path”.
CREDIC comments on the song: “THE PATH… to cross all given limits. Just like the lyrics, the music has also no limits. A HEAVEN SHALL BURN verse, a PARKWAY DRIVE chorus, a MACHINE HEAD breakdown and, of course, an AMON AMARTH tremolo-double bass interlude. All combined to a bulldozer of a song and an absolute live show maniac. Turn up the volume and tear down those barriers of yours.”
Featuring ten brand new tracks, with their second full-length record CREDIC deliver a furious and ferocious, yet emotional metal Iliad. An epic brand of Melodic Death Metal that is, despite upholding the very DNA of the genre, free and bold, charging with vigour and embellished by a monumental aura of longing not unlike the feeling you get when you gaze at the starlit sky in wonder and terror. Imagine a cross between Gothenburg metal and the score to “Stranger Things”, “Vermillion Oceans” sounds like a massive, zeitgeisty metal album taking a stroll through Hawkins, Indiana.
