A very special re-release for the 25th anniversary of the pioneering debut album by the Norwegian Black Metalers BORKNAGAR is being released worldwide, through the band’s multi-year collaboration with Century Media Records.

BORKNAGAR founder Øystein G. Brun commented on “Dauden” as follows:

“If there’s one song that has shaped my sound and inspired my career as a musician, it’s ‘Dauden.’ and treacherous part of my life, I wanted it to be done with dignity. And here we are! This is the final reissue of BORKNAGAR’s debut album. This release contains a genuine Re-master of the album debut, based on the original mixing tapes. This was done with the utmost care and love sincerely to maintain the original sound and taste of the album and only to improve the listening. Working on this reissue was an emotional ride. They were moments of frustration and technical obstacles. Hours have been spent finding and collecting old images, cassettes and equipment that have not been played or used for more than 25 years. But now it is over and I hope you all enjoy and appreciate this release as much as I do. “
