The Finnish masters of Death/Black Metal ARCHGOAT, have returned with their new EP, which bears the very “polite” title, “All Christianity Ends”. The EP comes just five months after the release of their awesome album, “Worship the Eternal Darkness”. A move that has become a habit for the Finns, as they release EPs in between their full-length albums.

“All Christianity Ends” doesn’t differ sonically and lyrically from its predecessor, not that we expected anything different of course, as the songs were obviously written in the same period as those of the recent album. In the year 2022, ARCHGOAT offer us four new compositions of raw and blasphemous Death/Black Metal, of total duration of about 18 minutes, with the lyrics capturing the band’s “cult” for Christianity. The songs move in furiously fast rhythms, resulting in an EP of sweeping brutality, while the various samples create a mystical nightmarish atmosphere. The Finns didn’t offer us any sonic surprise, but they remained faithful to their traditional forms and continued where they left off with “Worship the Eternal Darkness”.

So, ARCHGOAT remain in a demonic form, offering us another top quality release. “All Christianity Ends” manages to look “Angelcunt (Tales of Desecration)”, ” Heavenly Vulva (Christ’s Last Rites)” and ” Eternal Damnation of Christ” EPs in the eye, confirming once again that ARCHGOAT remain easily and undisturbed at the top of this particular genre.
