International Modern Melodic Death Metallers ANCIENT SETTLERS, inflict criticism upon a new era of war in Europe with their new single “Mihi Nomen Est Ira”. The track is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP “Transition”, due for release on May 1st hrough Crusader Records – part of the Golden Robot Global Entertainment Group – and is accompanied by an official music video.
“Mihi Nomen Est Ira” is energetic and intense Death Metal accompanied by plenty of modern guitar solos. Clean and guttural voices are supported by Gregorian chants with special guest Pintxo Wayewta (EMPIRE OF DISEASE) on the track.
The upcoming EP will contain four songs, which were recorded at Chromaticity Studios in Asua byPedro J. Monge. The beautiful cover artwork was cerated by the Greek artist Jon Toussas.
It will be the first release after the changes in the quintet’s line-up. It will also be the debut of their new singer Génesis Farias, who replaced Antony Hämäläinen (MERIDIAN DAWN, CRYSTAL TEARS, ex-NIGHTRAGE). Thus, the new line-up consists of Génesis Farias (vocalist), Carlos Chiesa-Estomba (guitar), Hernan Riera (drums), Miguel Herrera (bass) and Agustin Martinez (guitar).
ANCIENT SETTLERS will support DEFACING GOD on their tour in Spain and Portugal in May 2023.
