“Manual Manic Procedures”, the anticipated new full-length from Cleveland Death Metal behemoths, 200 STAB WOUNDS, is out now through Metal Blade Records.
A superlative sophomore effort that follows their tour de force debut, 2021’s “Slave To The Scalpel”, “Manual Manic Procedures” is a brutal slab of old-school Death Metal with a contemporary edge. Not for the faint-hearted, the record may well be the album that puts classic gore-themed ferocity back into the metal community’s collective consciousness. The album’s artwork – graphically depicting radical surgery on somebody who may or may not be conscious – is an immediate indicator of what this record is all about. No punches pulled, no holds barred, just blood-soaked Death Metal.

In celebration of the record’s official release, the band delivers an official video for “Gross Abuse”.
Vocalist/Guitarist Steve Buhl, comments on the song: ” ‘Gross Abuse’ is a basic Death Metal torture song. It’s so simple, heavy, and groovy. It’s heavy as fuck and just brutal – so we needed lyrics to match that. It’s your standard torture-fucking-murder-fucking-Death Metal song about killing somebody.”
200 STAB WOUNDS will return to the road this August on a North American headlining tour! The Manual Manic Procedures Tour begins August 16th in Houston, Texas and runs through September 10th in Ottawa, Ontario. Support will be provided by BALMORA, UPON STONE and STABBING.
From there, 200 STAB WOUNDS will join NAILS for ten dates leading up to a performance at this year’s edition of the New England Metal And Hardcore Fest in Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by four more shows with ALLUVIAL, TORTURE and KILLING PACE. This Fall, 200 STAB WOUNDS will decimate stages throughout Europe with GATECREEPER and ENFORCED.
