IRON MAIDEN launched the mobile game “Legacy Of The Beast” in 2016, and after eight years, they are retiring it. According to the game studio Navigator Games, “Legacy Of The Beast” is in its final month of operation, although the studio is working on new projects with the band. Alongside all the band’s collaborations, from GHOST and POWERWOLF to ARCH ENEMY and ANTHRAX over the years, the game frequently made headlines.
In their official announcement, the game studio Navigator Games stated:
“As the band’s The Future Past tour for 2023-2024 concludes in Brazil, we reflect on the amazing achievements of this game — most notably the tour inspired by and named after it. The IRON MAIDEN “Legacy Of The Beast” tour ran from 2018 to 2022, traveling the globe and gracing some of the biggest festivals and venues, such as Rock In Rio, Hellfest, Download, and Wacken Open Air. It was, without a doubt, the most exciting and ambitious way to promote the greatest Metal video game of all time.
However, we must bid farewell to this chapter first, and to do that, we want to celebrate the incredible legacy we’ve built together with all of you and conclude it with a spectacular and emotional end-of-tour party! Join us for a four-week celebration of “Legacy Of The Beast”! Starting today, we’ll be sharing epic milestones, memories, and honoring the game’s impact on the world with our amazing player community. We want to thank all our Troopers for their passion and dedication, making this the most legendary celebration of IRON MAIDEN and our game “Legacy Of The Beast”. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and passion for all things Iron Maiden.”
