June 5th, 2024, Hamburg, Los Angeles, and Thessaloniki – RPM (Reigning Phoenix Music) proudly announces the integration of ROAR! (Rock of Angels Records) into its family. This strategic move unifies the German-American record label RPM with the Greek ROAR!, resulting in an impressive global expansion of the band roster, featuring many genre-defining acts.
Founded in 2013 by Akis Kosmidis in Thessaloniki, Greece, ROAR! has achieved great success with scene legends such as GRAVE DIGGER and MYSTIC PROPHECY, both of whom reached their highest chart positions in Germany with the help of the label. Other notable names on the label’s roster include SCANNER, MAD MAX, ASHES OF ARES, and STEEL PROPHET, as well as up-and-coming acts like ENEMY INSIDE from Aschaffenburg, Germany, and Greek bands STRAY GODS, DIVINER, and FORTRESS UNDER SIEGE.
RPM Managing Director Jochen Richert expresses his excitement about the new addition, stating:

Under the future banner of RPM ROAR, the high-caliber ROAR! roster will join forces with the already integrated artist roster of Fireflash Records, which includes TAILGUNNER, HOLY MOSES, and more. The first additions to the RPM ROAR roster are Californian heavy metal band SABER, Florida-based true metal newcomers MIDNIGHT VICE, and Greek prog power metallers INNERWISH. More additions will be announced in the coming weeks.
This partnership combines a shared commitment to strengthening artist presences with in-depth industry knowledge, making it a powerhouse in the music industry. Jochen Richert will serve as Managing Director of RPM ROAR, with Lambros Kokkinos and Markus Wosgien sharing day-to-day operations and Akis Kosmidis serving in an advisory capacity. The combined talent, resources, and passion of both labels guarantee a lucrative home for metal artists of all stripes.
