The Thuringian masters of the macabre, EISREGEN, have announced a 7″ single, titled “Heckenschütze”, slated for release on October 20th, via Massacre Records! The band also dropped a music video for the title track produced by HomerThe2nd – Studios.
With their new single “Heckenschütze”, the German Extreme Metal band is offering a smash hit which unites all their trademarks: Lyrics from the point of view of a psychologically disturbed mass shooter who has fallen through the social net, hauntingly presented by band leader M. Roth and musically embedded in deep dark melodies that immediately stick in your ears.
Coming out as a special edition, the single will be available as a vinyl 7″ in different colors, each with an enclosed CD version of two songs: as the B-side is adorned with a new recording of the very first EISREGEN song “Zeitenwende”, which was previously only available on the legendary “Promo 96”. The single “Heckenschütze” thus offers the band’s newest song to date and, as a contrast, the very first song they ever created! The usual brutal sound carpet was provided by Yantit as producer and Markus Stock, who was responsible for the mix and mastering.
