SODOM returns to Greece for two concerts in Athens and Thessaloniki! After repeated cancellations due to the pandemic, they will appear in March 2022 at Fuzz Live Music Club on March 24, 2022 and Principal Club Theater on March 26, 2022 counterparts. With a new composition consisting of very familiar new members, the band looks like it has returned from the past! They will visit Greece again for two live performances, for two Special Anniversary Old School Shows, only for the Greek audience, as mentioned by the legendary – mastermind of the band Tom Angelripper, for one of his most beloved audiences in one of his most beloved countries … Greece.

The thrash metal titans will appear on stage after two Greek bands, Fragments of Despair, who will open the show and Domination Inc., who will lead the German headliners.

Brief biographical information of the three bands:

Sodom is a German metal band from Gelsenkirchen, founded in 1981. They have gone through many compositional changes, leaving bassist/singer Tom Angelripper as the only stable member. Along with Kreator, Destruction and Tankard, Sodom have been listed as one of the “Big 4” of Teutonic thrash metal. While three of these bands (in addition to Tankard) created a sound that would have a big impact on death and black metal, the Sodom’s early musical style would greatly influence many black metal bands in the late 1980s and early 1990s more than others.
To date, Sodom has released fifteen studio albums, three live albums, two collection albums and six EPs. They achieved their first commercial success with their third studio album “Agent Orange” (1989), which was the first thrash metal album to enter the German charts album, where it reached number 36. Their latest releases include a full length album, “Genesis XIX” (2020), and five EP’s, with the most recent being “Bombenhagel” released last August. Sodom remain one of the highest-selling thrash metal bands of all time, having sold over eight million records.

Domination Inc. is a new, dynamic groove/thrash metal band from Athens that despite their young age already counts 10 years as a band. Having now recorded the historic SPV/Steamhammer and having done various tours, culminating in the live on Wacken Open Air, they are more ready than ever to return to Athens for a live full of energy.

Fragments Of Despair who will open the concert, were created in Paros in 2013 by the singer and guitarist Romulus Chondrogiorgakis and the guitarist Stelios “The Youth” Zoumis. Having released two singles in July 2014, “Under The Same Sky” & “Eradicate War” piqued the interest of music producer Clive Martin and gave rise to the release (on 17/01/2015) of the first EP of the band in its production. Three years later, with several live performances and several member changes, Fragments Of Despair releases “Broken Lost Mistakes,” their first album again produced by Clive Martin. On the drums now is Sevan Barsam (Memorain, Karma Violens) and on bass Jason Joachim (Lycans).
